I have the unlucky predicament of being OFF on Thanksgiving, but being on backup call for my program.  If someone gets sick or calls out, I have to be there within an hour.  This means that I can’t go home, but I won’t be busy.  Kiss of death, let me tell you.

Also, my parents had planned to visit Sunday.  I suggested (two weeks ago) that they think about taking the train because of holiday traffic.  They, of course, didn’t look until two nights ago and (surprise, surprise!) it’s super expensive now.  So, I don’t think they’ll be coming. I don’t really feel like talking to them right now, and I sure as hell won’t be speaking to them over the weekend.

If I had to put money on it, I’d guess I’ll have a breakdown around 2 PM on Thursday. So, so incredibly lonely.
